As an ACSM certified personal trainer and Kinesiology student at UTSA, Mary’s passion for health and
fitness continues to grow with each client, class, and success. She has been in the fitness industry for 4
years working with children, the elderly, and all ages in between with varying fitness levels and goals.
Mary’s specialties include weight loss and general fitness, which stem from her own struggles with body
image and eating disorders.
As a swimmer and cross country runner in high school, she was always in a
swimsuit or spandex, worried that she wasn’t as thin or fit as her teammates. Personal training and her
field of study have educated and guided her in healthy eating habits, regular exercise, and emphasizing
overall health instead of a number on a scale. Mary aims to help clients find a way to love fitness,
achieve their personal goals, and start a lifelong journey with health.
